  • Stena Adventurer Launched in 2003 by Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan, South Korea, the Stena Adventurer serves the Dublin-Holyhead route. It has capacity for 1,500 day passengers and 364 sleeping berths. Powered by four MAN engines, it generates a total of 25,925 horsepower, cruising at speeds up to 22 knots. This vessel significantly increased the freight capacity for the service, enhancing the maritime transport capabilities of the route.
  • Stena Estrid The Stena Estrid, delivered by AVIC Weihai Shipyard Co in China in 2019, is part of the modern E-Flexer class within the fleet. It accommodates 927 passengers and offers 175 cabins. With 3,100 lane meters available for vehicles, it’s equipped with two Caterpillar MaK 12 M43 C engines, ready for methanol or LNG, and generates power equivalent to 25,925 horsepower, reaching speeds of 22 knots.
  • Stena Europe Operating on the Rosslare – Fishguard route, the Stena Europe was built in 1981 by Gotaverken-Arendal in Gothenburg. It can host 1,400 passengers and 456 in sleeping berths, with capacity for 520 cars. Its four Wärtsilä engines provide a total power of 15,360 horsepower, enabling the vessel to sail at 18 knots.
  • Stena Horizon As part of the Visentini class, the Stena Horizon was constructed in 2005 by Cantiere Navale Visentini in Italy. Capable of transporting 660 passengers with sleeping arrangements for 480 and offering 2,250 lane meters for cargo, it is propelled by two MAN B&W 9L 48/60B engines. Together, these engines produce a power output of 24,000 horsepower, allowing the ship to cruise at 24 knots on the Rosslare-Cherbourg route.
  • Stena Edda The Stena Edda, built in 2019 by AVIC Weihai Shipyard Co, enhances the Belfast-Birkenhead service. It carries 927 passengers, provides 175 sleeping berths, and has 3,100 lane meters for vehicles. With two Caterpillar MaK 12 M43 C engines, adapted for methanol or LNG, it generates a similar power output to the Estrid, cruising at speeds of 22 knots.
  • Stena Mersey Launched in 2005 by Cantiere Navale Visentini in Donada, Italy, the Stena Mersey operates on the Belfast-Birkenhead route. It has space for 980 passengers, 170 sleeping berths, and 2,275 lane meters for cargo. The vessel’s two MAN B&W 9L 48/60B engines produce a power output of 24,000 horsepower, propelling the ship at 24 knots.
  • Stena Superfast VII Built in 2001 and refurbished in 2011, these ships serve the Belfast-Cairnryan route. They can each accommodate 717 passengers (increased to 1,200 post-refit), with 653 sleeping berths and 1,891 lane meters for vehicles. Powered by four Wartsila Sulzer 12ZAV40S engines, each vessel achieves a thrilling speed of 28.9 knots, thanks to a combined power output of over 50,000 horsepower.
