My Ferry Journey Through Sweden

Not that long ago i decided to explore Sweden 🙂

I started my adventure with a ferry trip that brought me to Trelleborg. The ferry ride was comfortable and offered stunning views of the Baltic Sea.

Trelleborg, was the nice opening for my Sweden exploration to be honest! After i got off the ferry I grabbed a coffee at a local café near the port beacuse i had to.. what i would explore without that energy that coffe brings? 🙂 Of course looking at the Swedish coastline. My plan for that trip was to explore the south before heading towards the bustling cities and moooore..

So first of all i had to rent a car, which i drove straight to Malmö. The drive was very enjoying as for person that dont like long drives, these views! Wow.. nature here is amazing to be honest… And yeah,Malmö itself was a blend of old-world charm and modern architecture, highlighted by the Turning Torso skyscraper that dominated the skyline.

I spent my first day exploring Malmö’s parks, historical squares, and checking on food scene of course haha, the city’s diversity was evident in its culinary offerings, from traditional Swedish dishes to global cuisine.

Then wind took me to capital, the Stockholm, the heart of Sweden. The capital city was a maze of islands connected by bridges, each district with its unique character. The old town, Gamla Stan, was like stepping back in time with its cobblestone streets and medieval buildings, i must have tell you that if you are enjoyer of “old schooled” vibes you have to go there, honestly! And of course i couldn’t forger The Vasa Museum which is housing a 17th-century ship that have a very curious history but i wouldn’t spoiler it for you 😉

My journey also took me to the countryside, where I experienced the Sweden’s natural landscapes. The lakes and forests were a peaceful change of styles, from the city’s hustle and bustle. I even had the chance to stay in a traditional Swedish cabin, which was an funny experience.

My trip ended in Gothenburg, where I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere and the stunning archipelago. To summary my trip i sat in the one of parks to think do i really want to leave that place? From the urban to the magic landscapes of the Swedish countryside, this trip was a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
